The FWYC hosts the local chapter of the Florida Commodores’
Association, (FCA), an organization made up of Past Commodores of the
FWYC. The mission of the FCA is to support yachting and provide
educational opportunities to enhance the development of yacht club
members and officers. Membership in the local chapter is open to
all Past Commodores who currently reside in the area and wish to
participate in the chapter’s activities.
The FWYC Chapter of the FCA meets for a social luncheon at the club on
the first Tuesday of each month. The chapter schedules two
business meetings each year.
